Frequently Asked Questions
What is The Homeownership Alliance?
The Homeownership Alliance is an education and resource network designed to help people make more informed housing decisions. We bring together practical education, community resources, and local professionals to support people through different stages of the housing journey.
For example, you can attend a free homebuyer class to better understand the buying process and avoid costly mistakes, or explore our Community Partners when you need help finding a mortgage lender, builder, insurance professional, or other housing-related resource.
Do I have to be ready to buy or sell a home to participate?
Not at all. The Alliance is designed to provide education before a transaction is on the table. Whether you’re preparing for future homeownership, currently own a home, or considering a housing or life transition, you can explore resources and education at your own pace.
Are your educational events free?
Most of our educational webinars and community events are offered at no cost. Individual event pages will provide details about registration, availability, and any applicable fees.
Will I be pressured to work with one of your partners?
No. Our goal is to help you better understand your options and connect you with resources when you need them. You decide whether, when, and with whom you choose to move forward.
